The question to ask when building a modular home is what is the most cost affective option for your new home. Most builders will make option recomendations that will save you the most money. You and your builder must make the decision on what the factory will provide and or manufacture.
The reason to have site installed options will be determined by price and availability. Modular home manufacturers might not install or offer some of the brand name product you desire to go into your home.
